First, let’s talk about Disney. Their first animated movie was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which made about $189.4 million. However, it’s important to remember that this movie was made in 1937, when money rates were different. That amount would probably be $2 billion, in 2024.

Overall, Dumbo made the least money, coming in at $1.3 billion, and Frozen 2 made the most, at $1.450 billion. Disney’s newest movie, Moana 2, has only been in theaters for about four and a half weeks, and has already made $723 million.

Next, Pixar. Their first animated movie was Toy Story. Toy Story made $404 million, when it was released in 1995.Turning Red made the least money coming in at $20.1 million. However, Inside Out 2 made the most money of the Pixar movies coming in at $1.46 billion. It is also the highest grossing animated movie of all-time worldwide, beating Frozen 2 by $10 million.
