Countdown to Christmas with Cookie by Reina (Myths about Elves Debunked)
Seasons greetings, Cookie here. Remember that cute little elf on the shelf your grandma bought you and your siblings? It had a long hat and an adorable red outfit with rosy cheeks. Well, that little elf is a FRAUD! A stereotype to the elf community! That nonsense is even turning into a musical! So today, instead of an activity, I will inform you of the real truth about elves. So get comfortable. This will be a long one.
P.S. Comment below any questions you might have about us, elves.
P.S.S. Wait until the end to hear about two special truths about Santa.
#1- Elves are not Santa’s servants. (So whatever hullabaloo you heard about it is not true! We merely assist Santa - those who are lucky to work with him)
#2- To follow up on that last truth- fifty percent of elves do NOT work with Santa in Santa’s workshop. (My Father and Mother are bakers. My sisters and I were accepted into Santa's workshop only months ago.)
#3- Not all elves like reindeer! Quite frankly, I think Rudolph is a little bit stinky…(Don’t tell him that I said that.)
#4- We don't always wear Christmas outfits, long hats, or shoes with buckles.
And lastly, the truths about Santa:
He is actually lactose intolerant! So, next time your mom suggests leaving cookies and milk, make it vegan!
Many people think Santa is the person who rides around in his sleigh, but actually, most often, Mrs. Claus delivers presents on Christmas Eve. (Talk about girl power, am I right, ladies?)
Tis the season,
Cookie

Great post Cookie!!!
