Oreo's Dillema, By Makaila Odoom
Oreo's Dillema
Oreo the dog was taking a long snooze under her family’s kitchen table. Of course it was the table that was covered in food that Oreo's family had left to cool. At five forty-five PM, the family went for a walk and left Oreo at home because they didn't want to wake her.
The dog dreamed of fresh bananas. Oreo loved bananas. She also wondered when her family was coming home and where they had gone. During her nap, Oreo hoped she wouldn't be alone for too long, and that her family would return home soon.
At six-fifteen PM, Oreo woke up and realized the food on the table was gone! Instead, it was all splattered on the floor. She was confused as to what happened because she was sure the food had been on the table when she fell asleep. Suddenly, Oreo remembered she heard a crash while she was sleeping.
When the family returned at six-thirty they were shocked to see the mess on the floor. Of course, the family thought that Oreo had caused the horrible mess. Oreo's dad said that they should just order sushi. Later, the parents learned that their kids trashed the food because they wanted to get sushi. The kids had ridden their bikes on the walk, and biked home ahead of their parents when they got tired, then trashed the food. The kids apologized to Oreo. Because the kids stole the food, they were grounded for three days. Oreo was happy that her parents were’t mad at her anymore, after the kids admitted to their mischief. And they all lived happily ever after.
