In A Dark Room, By Abella Amoako-Atta
Broken, Thats what I see. Shattered, that's what I am. I'm the one who forgot, forgot
who I am. Darkness, nothing is bright, yet I let all the clouds keep away all my light,
sadness, as I let it linger, theres a storm very near, just starting to shower. But I, I give
up and cry, just to watch them leave, as they watch me die, But I, I forgave them all,
When I needed them most, they left me, as I watched in horror.
